Firefox and quickreply
 

Me and some of my members use firefox and when we try and use the quick reply after you click the post button it just brings up a blank page. The message gets posted but you have to refresh the page to see my forums again. Why is this?

Do you have a test account that we can use to try this out?

Does the Quick reply work correctly in FF here?

Ok, it looks like your style was written for vB3.0.x and not 3.5.x so it needs updating to work with 3.5.x as some of the code has been changed, especially that which controls Quick Reply and other AJAX functions.

Im almost positive the style is 3.5.x

Ok, I've tested it on the demo site for the style and it works fine in 3.5.x there, but they haven't got click for QR turned on. Have you tried it disabling the click for QR?

Unfortunatly it doesnt work even with the click disabled.

Have you added any modifications to your showthread template?

If not, then I would be inclinded to contact the company that you purchased your style from and ask for support.

If you have, try reimporting the style XML as a new style and see if it works on there. If it does, then you have possibly made an error with one of your edits to the template.

I had this problem with the mod that adds animations to the usernames called Super Display Suite. Once I removed the mark-ups from the user names it worked fine again.

I only had them on the admin names for checking it out, and only admins were having that problem.

Thanks guys, it was the hacks. I just have to re add them and find my error.
