Good Day,
I was wondering, if i add a skin to my installation, will i have to re-add/install my hacks? also the skin/style that i would like to use has tabs instead of the nav bar, is it possible to add the skin and still have all of my links,/hack working without re-installing them?

you will just need to redo the template edits for the hacks you have installed on the new skin only.
