Online Shop / Store Mod; Pretty Purrlease!!!

Hi

I have been searching through this forum endlessly and have been waiting for months for someone to have found/created an online shop/store modification for vbulletin.

If I knew how to do it myself I would but I don't :(

Please please please somebody make this!! It would easily be HotM without a doubt and so many people would install it.

Perhaps me and everyone else who is as desperate for this mod as I am could all contribute a donation to pay for someone to do it?

Please somebody make my day and say you will do it! Perhaps Mr Zeropage could have a go at doing it, he did such a brill job with the arcade I'm sure he'd know how to do it. ;) What does everyone else think? :)

What do you mean by Store/Shop? Do you mean like purchasing real items? Or virtual items for your forums?

Dr.Viggy 05-18-2006 01:29 AM

do you have an inventory of items that you want to sell or do you want a merchant to create and sell them for you based on your design? if you chose the latter then just go to cafepress.com and set up your online store. each item is made to order and shipped directly to the customer. you can alter the prices and create markup so you can profit from the items as well.

plus there is a hack for vbulletin which will integrate your cafepress store with your forums.
www.cafepress.com/drviggy is mine so you can get an idea. or go to www.drviggy.com/forums and click on the "shop" link to see the integration.

here is the thread with the hack

Yes, for purchasing real items not virtual one's ;)

I just want to be able to upload images, description, price etc and have Paypal and/or other merchant systems intergrated as a checkout. It would mainly be for selling excursions and the odd promotional item.

Yes, I have an inventory of items that I wish to sell through my forum. I currently have a link on my navbar to another url where I have an online store running on actinic. I would prefer if I could have a store intergrated in vb.

Cafepress is a good idea for creating promotional items however I'm wishing to sell excursions that people can pre-book before going on holiday and so forth so cafepress is no good for this but thank you for the suggestion anyway :)

Is anyone working on a mod like this? I would more than happily donate!
