Can Impex import Discus 4 in mySql format?
 

Hi,

I have a discus 4.00.7 board currently storing data in flat file, text format.

It is breaking a lot... :tired:

But if I convert it to mySql, can I still upgrade to vBulletin later on? (As I am not sure it can be converted back.)

If anyone has recent experience, tips etc on converting Discus to vBulletin, I would love to hear them. I was going to leave this until a friendly programmer could help out, but having my forum go fubar may mean I have to tackle the job sooner.

I suggest you ask this at vbulletin.com, where you can get official answers on the use of ImpEx. Impex is the utility available to licensed members to convert from other board software.

You might also consider sending a PM to Jerry at vbulletin.com. He is the Developer of the import software, and can give you the best advice on this.
