Hover over thread feature
 
How can I make it so when I hover over a thread it changes color or shades? I have seen it on a few forums and it looks really cool. It almost seems like a CSS modification. (I am not talking about changing link color I am talking about the actual thread block)

I also was curious if anyone knew how to, when posting a sticky in a thread to make the sticky a different color. This helps make it stand out from normal topics.
