MySQL Error : Can't create/write to file '/var/tmp/#sql_11126_0.MYI' (Errcode: 2)
Hi
I have loaded VBulletin onto my site. Right now when I log into the Admin Panel and choose VBoptions...I get this error. I dont know what it means. VBulletin customer support said that my Yahoo (which hosts the forum) needs to fix it. When I sent them this information..they came back and said I need to chmod a tmp file to 777 (777 suggested by VBulletin) myself. I dont know what to do:( I am not a computer expert. But I do need to get this fixed so this doesnt continue and so it doesnt happen in the future. Can anyone help me out? It would be appreciated. Thank you. |
Do you have ftp setup to your site?

I very much doubt that is something that you can solve yourself. I am pretty positive that vBulletin support gave you the correct answers to this question.
It is very unlikely that you will be ably to change these permissions yourself. I would try to get a better response/help from Yahoo. It has nothing to do with vB itself, but with the way MySQL is (not??) runningon their server. |
Thanks for the responses...
Yes...Vb said that it was something Yahoo had to fix.. at first they didnt quite get it and wasnted me to di it?:cross-eyed: however..I sent them the thread where I got customer support and I finally got an email saying Yahoo experienced "technical difficulties".. |
So i asume that they will be handling it now?
