Ok...I dunno if this is a hack for this software, or if it exists elsewhere in PHP form and can be tied into the same back end...

But I'm looking for a Yahoo Clubs type of product...essentially a member created private forum, where the creator can control who has access, it keeps track of how many members, pages, etc...there is also a mailing list to reach all these members, and a place to swap pics and/or files. Finally the leader of the club can contrl the welcome message and stuff like that.

Anyone have thoughts?

I think that would require a descent, if not large, ammount of hacking.

Could be done, though (I saw a guy do this with 'the other forum' :))

I was using Ultra Board instead of the UBB, Donno why, it wasn't that good compared to the UBB... - Were there many other people here using that instead of the UBB? I am fairly sure Mafukie was for some reason ;) Anyone else?

Anyway, this forum is very easy to hack, which is what I like about it :)

just set it up in the VB? Under a private forum and give access to the members that the moderator wants to give access to? I think this would increase membership to the forum.

They can host a website on another site, but use your VB to post messages:D
