Hi peeps

How do i stop members viewing forums in the archive that they are not normally allowed to view?

You can stop using the archive.. rename the archive folder to something else and also remove archive link from footer to completely disable archive or a place a .htaccess file under archive to re-direct users to any specific location on your domain :-)

Hi

Surley this is not the best practise (turning it off) although it is off atm!!!
There must be away so the the archive can inherit the foums permissions?

I just confirmed it. It does use permisions already.

Hi jump...

Well i have a normal member able to read the AE dector posts that are in my lounge (admin)

I actually checked the WOL when he was online and there he was in the archive reading my admin lounge lol.....
