Dear all,

Does any hack yet exist to allow users to select to be sent an email version of all posts, posted in any thread anywhere on the board? Or at least a notification of any new posts anywhere in the system?

This is a very commonly requested resource by my users. Does something exist to meet it?

Would be happy to pay for a custom hack if not.

Here is something that comes close, they only have to subscribe to the forum and they will get instant notifications https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=98822

Unfortunately that doesn't do it. Members have to subscribe to every forum on the board; and then it only sends new messages when a new thread is created in a forum - not when new messages are posted in existing forums.

What we really need is a hack that simply causes an e-mail notification to be sent out *every* time a post is made *anywhere* on the system, should a member have a 'Receive e-mail notification for all' type flag ticked to on.

This is rather critical for us. Does such a thing exist?

If not, we are quite happy to pay for someone to code it.
