I have a number of hacks on my board, and two of my favourites are "Staff Can Post Hidden Posts" and "Latest Reputation Received".

Both of these have small notifiers in the nav bar that let users and staff know when they have new hidden posts or new rep.

However, both of these hacks (on my board at least) have "issues" with the ?do=getnew ability of the seach.php page.

If searching for posts in the last day, week month etc. the nofiers display fine. They also display fine on all other pages on my board. Just not on search.php?do=getnew.

Has anyone else encountered this problem and/or does anyone have a fix?
