Couple of Questions regarding this image.

1) If you look at the attached screenshot, you'll notice that the boards seem to reside on top of an alternate image, with the boards being transparent. How would I go about incorporating this into VB?

2) Is anyone familiar with the button fonts

Seperately, I'm trying to find a font that will reflect an archaic, fantasy style. Does anyone have any recommendations?

My thanks in advance for your help.

*** One more Question ***

What are the coding differences between a fluid and static skins?

hello, i'll try to answer some of your questions but I wont go in depth cause some your questions have long answers.

1- You will have to modify your css to add transparency options for your tables, you might have to edit couple of templates such as the forumdisplay and postbit but that is unlikley.

2-sorry don't know the font, i'm not really into that style either so can't recommend any.

as for your last question, the difference is that a fluid skin has a width of 100% meaning that no matter what the monitor size/resolution, the skin with expand 100% without the need of scrolling left to right.

As for static skins or fixed skins, you have a set width, for example 1000px, that way if a user's screen resolution is 800x600, then they need to scroll left to right to see the remaining 200px.

Thank you for the response, I have yet another question:

Is it possible to incorporate into VB the type of flash buttons that are exhibited on this site:

no problem, yes that is also possible to do, for the top part, you have to edit your header template and add the flash buttons accordingly.
