2 users using the same 'licensing' details?

Hey guyz,

I am an admin for the Commodore Life Car Club, and also have another admin working with me.

Can 2 vBulletin.org members use the same license number infomation?

I would have tried it but I didn't want anything to happen to this account.

Thanks guyz,
Kurt

Yes, there are three users with the same licencing info from my site, or at least two here, and another at vB.com

kurtbarker 05-01-2006 11:45 PM

heyya again,

I logged in as my other admin on here, and I got the unlicensed message, and in there is said: "If you are not the license owner, you have to ask the owner to add your email addy into that field for you."

So I asume it's saying I shouldn't just punch in my customer number and password for him. but more so 'add' his account to mine?

I don't wanna do this wrong... So what do I have to do to add someone else to my license?

In your members area under priority support there is space for you to add 3 email addresses to your licence. Ensure that the other admins email address is logged on that page (it is case specific) and the wait an hour and it shoudl update to licenced here. If it doesn't then raise a support ticket via your members area and they will check it out for you.

It's done here: http://members.vbulletin.com/membersupport_priority.php

thanks guyz

I figured it was done at vBulletin.com from what peterska said...

it's already come through here as being licensed, so was pretty fast too :D

peterska2 05-02-2006 12:25 AM

that was quite fast, you must have timed it just right with the cron scripts :)
