What should I be getting from my site (Large forum)

Well,

Long story short, I was 16 when i created my website back in 2004, and if you passed grade school, you will come to the conclusion that I am now 18.

Anyways, my website took off over the past two years. As of this post my forum has Threads: 29,700, Posts: 454,129, Members: 26,079.

I want to know how I should go about earning mad cash flow, for lack of a better term :)

While I'm only 18, I still have a good amount of knowledge in website development, but one area I'm lacking in is revenue. I mean don't get me wrong, I get about $250/month from advertisers I look for myself (image hosts, video hosts, other companies related to my website subject) but it just doesn't seem right compared to these people making $xx,xxx a month.

I currently use azoogle ads lightly. No pop ups or emails or anything like that. I place their banners on my website and I receive anwhere from $1 to $6 a day.

And just for the record, Google banned my website I believe because someone supposedly ran a robot script on my ads. So they are out of the question.

I would like to ask my follow big board friends for advice or consulting they can offer me to increase my site revenue. Anybody been in this area before and care to share their testimony?

Thanks!

What's your traffic like? Your board would be considered medium size, not large, really.

About 40k-45k unique visitors a month.

150-200 active users on consistently.

40-45k unique visitors a month is a fantastic effort and you should be raking in the money. :) However, that's not consistent with having 150-200 active users on consistently. Are your stats right?

well i make about 150 a month of adsense. and i only have 100 members and about 1000 uniques a day. so thatd be a big revenue eayner

Well pretty much. It's actually 200-250 users online during normal hours.

And i don't use adsense
