Admin / Mod Hack Request
 

Hello,

I was searching for a hack to be able to give someone (moderator, even just a forum member, doesnt matter) access to some of the Admin CP functions. I want to be able to select which functions they have access to.

We have a member that does alot of work for us that we cant give admin access to as he is not a clan leader. Giving him the admin access would enable him to give himself access to private sections of the forums we dont want him able to see.

I was after some form of a hack to enable me to select functions he can have access to. If i have to make him a moderator, this is not a problem, then give the moderators this access. But i want to be able to choose what they do and dont have access to (ie, i want him to have access to some of the mods / hacks i have put on our forums so he can change settings on them, or import new banners, etc. Even if the person that made the rotating banner hack could have the same functions for this hack enabled in the Moderator CP, would definately help for a start.

Please ask me if anyone needs any more information on what i am asking for

We would like to have min-Admins with micro-level admin rights.

Say,

Admin-X would be able to add just new board members from within AdminCP and give them rights to be Registered Users only.

Admin-Y would be able to upgrade Registered Users to another usergroup: Premium Users.

Admin-Z will only be able to create mailing lists from the AdminCP.

Make them a SuperModerator and use Andreas' SuperMod Permissions hack.

excellent idea. I didn't know that there was a supermod permissions hack, haven't seen it anywhere.

EDITED... the only SuperMods hack that I can find of Andreas' is the Restrict SuperMod Permissions hack, and it has nothing about approving new members in it.
