plugin: correct way to refer to get PostID in post
Okay, I see that I want to hook editpost_edit_complete.
I can see that the post just edited is in the forumcache, but I am thinking this is not the best place to retrieve it from. Should I get it from the "cleaned" POST variables instead? feeling confused... I have been reading a lot on this forum before asking this (including the post on available objects in 3.5) What I am writing is a vb post --> wiki gateway for those curious. When certain tags are used a wiki post is made using the forum, subforum name and post name as the pagename. Cheers, Mathew |
