Need alphabet links like in members list

I am using GARS which turns your forums into a review system. It allows all the threads to be alphabetized.

What I would like to do is somehow incorporate the alphabet links (like on the members list) into each forum so that when you click on J it takes you to the first post starting with the letter J.

Do anyone know how this would be accomplished?
