How do I make certain threads show up on another page?
 
What I want to do is be able to post news in a certain area of my forum and have those posts come up on my home page sort of like a blogging system. The page will have a .php extension, and I want to be able to limit this. Is there a code that I can get that connects to that part of the forum/vb or is there a mod that I can install to do this?

I know this is possible because I can show an example of it.

EDIT: I would also like to do this with one of the usergroups on showgroups.php, is this possible?
