FlashChat for 3.0 boards

I hope I am posting in the correct area. I am getting this error when I try to install flashchat to my www.yesfans.com site. I get to the screen in the install process that asked you to click the box for the ver of VB in this case that I am running. I click 3.0 and then continue then I get this... HELP

Flashchat (as in the 'chat' folder) must be located in your forum root (i.e. the same place as your global.php file).

You appear to have added a 'layer' - i.e. the 'Flashchat' folder
