idea: an "economy".
i know it sounds strange but it might be a fun option.
imagine if there was only a limited amount of bux in the world. every time someone is paid bux, it is taken out of the economy and into their own pockets/bank. when they buy something with the bucks; eg play a game, buy a username effect, feed a pet; it goes back into the economy. i know its very erm... specialist but an economics geek like me would get a kick out of it. new money could be brought into the economy by migrants, ie the 200 bucks everyone gets for registering! :) |
fantastic idea. should be a spin off. more like vEconomy game...

That's pretty cool..
Injections to the economy (a bit of a play on the real life injections) -Government (i.e. Admin) expenditure -Inward Investment (other forums investing because they can make more money in your forum?) -Exports (selling off forum members, haha) So money would need to be lost as well: -taxation (certain forums taxed more heavily than others) -Saving (users might want to save money knowing the intrest rates are high and they can get a good return) -imports (users from other forums :D) |
I was thinking the same thing. There should be a limited amount of funds (as an option). Love the idea.

Something like this would take a bit of time to think thru the possibilities as well as take up some time to code and debug it and avoid exploits/bugs as well. The Federal Bank system is still up in the air right now as I havent fully figured out what to do with this feature. It might be very possible to do something with it using a system like this, I'll put these ideas into an expansion folder of updates todo/think about.

How about the Federal Bank system's for admin donations? ;)

It would then help because you could add things like a stock market later. Plus, prices could fluctuate based on the needs of the board! I think this is a fantastic idea! |
