[ERROR] Getting error when trying to submit scores ~UPDATE~
 

Since upgrading to 2.5.5, we've been getting errors while trying to submit scores. It happens sporadically, but frequenty enough (and with many different users) that its a problem. It just say Arcade Error (I haven't seen the screen yet because I can't replicate it, but even trusted mods are getting the error).

I just asked for one this morning .... it hasn't happened since I've asked. I'll post back as soon as I get one.

We've since discovered the error happens whenever someone tries to hit the back button or refresh after playing a game. They can play the second game fine, but as soon as the game ends and it tries to submit the score, they get the error. This didn't happen in the previous version. Any clues?

This is one of the Cheat-Protections :cool:

If you use BACK or REFRESH you can't submit your Score.


Maybe I add a "Start over"-Link while playing on the right side, but this is the most secure way to prevent cheating...

Should I add some information "do not hit BACK or refresh that page" to the Gamepage ?

LOL ... that might be helpful, because our members don't seem to read announcements.

A start over link would be great too.

I've since heard from another member that says she's not using the back button or refresh, and is still getting the error. I'll have to do some more investigating.

Thanks for your quick reply. Now I know why I couldn't replicate the problem ... I know better than to use the back button or refresh. ;)
