Just wandering where the template edit, or what ever it is that changes the whole homepage thing. Eg, have different stuff like calender, latest posts etc etc

Are you using a CMS like vBadvanced? If yes, look in the vBadvanced CMPS Templates (adv_portal = main template). If no, which script did you install for your home page?

Yes its vbadvanced that i wanted, but i just realised that it costs, is there anything like it that is free?

It's free for licensed vB owners. The cost only comes if you want a branded-free version.

First, go to vBadvanced.com and register. Use the same e-mail(s) you used during vBulletin registration as it looks for your license. Once verified, you'll have access to the download. :)
