large db question
 
ok I have a large site and its been lagging, I ordered a new server, but by the time I get it and set it up it will take a few weeks.

My question is: Is there a way to backup old posts, then prune then (2003-2004 posts) to speed up the site till I get the new server then restore them (+ new posts) ?
