duplicate IP detection
isnt there a hack that checks for people registering with duplicate IP's? and stops them from re-registering?
|
Possibly, I vaguely remember seeing one - and writing one.
(The one I thought I saw here was obviously not by me ;)) |
I'm not finding one, so I'll go write one... I need something to do anyways :p

Sorry for butting into your thread, but it falls onto the same subject.
Is there a hack to detect whether more than one IP has logged into the SAME account? |

This one actually prevents multiple users with the same IP from registering. Chris Gwynne: ACP > Users > Search IP Addresses. |
I'm aware of that krofh but that's manual, I'd rather be able to be notified or view a page that lists.
Also you'll note with the ACP > Users > Search IP Addresses method you do actually have to know the IP address and/or whether a user is logging in under multiple IPs.. |
