Having slave and a master databases with different names
I posted it here but It hasn't been answered and probably belongs here.
I have two different webhosts and I would like to set up a slave database for my forum. In config.php in the slave database entry it doesn't have a section to fill in the database name. The webhost I am currently using, 1and1, assigns database names for you, which are stupid names like db4534654645. The host i would like to use as a slave , made2own, is much nicer and has cpanel and everything. I can name the databases whatever I want, as long as it starts with my username_. Is there a way to make the two databases different names? See the link to vb.com if you don't understand what I'm saying.. Thanks. |
Does not belong here. Its a question. Not a release. ;)
