Google map plus link directory
 

I am looking for a link directory that uses google maps, or any map for that matter. Here is a link to something I came across with a similar idea http://www.pbnation.com/fieldshow.php?state=nj

I am looking for something similar. Hope someone has some input.

My googlemap hotspot edition has about all those features and even a lot more.

And is a lot more flexible.

This is great. I have a couple of questions though...

This may be a noob question but how do I "Set the file permissions on the spotmarkers.xml file to 777"? Is that like setting the attributes for the file via FTP?

I guess that's what I do since I installed it and everything seems to be working fine.

Also, when I add a link to a website outside my own the link is added to my own (i.e. www.mysite.com/www.thierlink.com) so the url is dead.

Finally, is there a way to search the data entered? That is one of the nice features of the link directory.

Finally, Finally, how do I get the map and the list to both show on the same page? I can only do one or the other.

After an hour though I think this is a great Mod, I'll probably have some more questions for you and will be happy to send a small donation if this turns out to be what I need.

I'm now finishing the code on the next release of the member edition, after that I'm creating the new build for the Hotspot Edition.

A lot of things you are suggesting are already on the roadmap in some form or another.
