Thread Started By Date & Username
By default, on a forumdisplay page, in the threads list, under the thread name you have the name of the member who started the thread. Check out the screenshot; it probably explains it better than words.
This hack modifies that second line so it indicates when the thread was started, in addition to the name of the member who started it. ++++++++++++++++++++++++ April 3, 2006: This hack has been updated to ver. 1.1.0 to include the same "thread started by" info on search results pages, too. To upgrade from 1.0.0, simply download the new ZIP file and import the product file, overwriting the existing one. There are no new template changes. |
How can you make this appear on the search results? (ie. Get New Posts or Get Daily Posts)

Good stuff, but when using with the functinality of "new postings" the name of the posters are not longer available!?
