vb.org Archive - 301 redirect mod_rewrite SMF to vBulletin?

Hi, I'm new to vB.

I've just come over to vBulletin from SMF and I wondered if anyone had any idea how to use mod_rewrite to 301 redirect all the old thread URLs from SMF to their corresponding vBulletin urls?

I have two forums one was using SE friendly urls and the other was using the SMF default PHP urls.

SMF has this URL structure;

Code:

http://www.domain.com/index.php?board=1.0

for boards and

Code:

http://www.domain.com/index.php?topic=123.0

for threads.

The SE friendly SMF urls look like this:

www.domain.com/index.php/board,1.0.html

and

Code:

www.domain.com/index.php/topic,123.0.html

Any other links (e.g. to profiles) can be redirected to the new forum home page.

Just to add a level of 'spice' to this, the SMF forums were in the root directory and the new vBulletin forum will be in a subdirectory called 'community'. I.E.

Code:

www.domain.com/community/

Any help for this would be much appreciated.
