Coverting from phpBB to VBulletin
 
Hi there,

I would like to convert my current forums (phpBB) to Vbulletin. Before paying and everything I would to know if there is an easy process to get the user database and posts across from phpBB to VB.

Is this possible?

hi,

Yes with impex the "importing" system that will convert your phpBB2 to vbulletin.Impex is in the vbulletin members area...

I converted from phpbb a few months ago - the conversion went perfectly....and I'd thoroughly recommend vBulletin :banana:

Ditto, I transferred a phpBB board that was hacked to death over to vB -- no problems at all!

same here, and i'm one of those admins that can really frell things up... LOL
the conversion went perfectly and vB was sooooo much eaiser to customize the css... i'm not one to say 'never' but it'll be a cold day you know where before I go back to phpBB2 ;)

it's very easy to convert your forum. Did you watch my impex video :) You can easily see it on vbulletin.com

Now it's included English Subtitle :)
