ibProArcade v2.5.5+, now what?

i just installed ibProArcade v2.5.5+.

what do i do now? basiclly i want to set it up so everyone has to pay to play.

little lost as to what i do.

how do i set up the a mass jackpot setting? and how does it work?

install vbPlaza this brings the complete "Costs"-System in your vBulletin :)

All ibProArcade-Cost-Settings only appear if vbPlaza is detected and active - so after installation of vbPlaza you will see the options for costs, jackpots ect.

Yup, vbPlaza & ibProArcade are married, the settings in vbPlaza wont work if it doesnt detect the arcade either.

very exicited. is there an "arcade update all" for jackpots? or rather how do I set up jackpots?

Not yet, but it will make it into v1.5.5 of vbPlaza inside the Quick Editor and Update All.

I'd like to know how to use the jackpot system - I cannot see anything in the vbBux/Plaza menu to select either static or rising - does it need to be set for each game manually?

I tried changing one or two manually to rising and it doesn't pay out the jackpot (or default back to zero - I presume it should return to a default?) after a highscore.

Thanks in advance
Gemma

vbPlaza 1.5.5 will have the features to edit the Jackpot.

The Jackpot system is a new feature that was added to ibProArcade after vbPlaza 1.5.4 was released.

It will come in the next release of vbPlaza.

Thanks for the quick reply :)

I've jus upgraded to this version of iBProArcade - I was using a heavily modified version of the old iBProArcade before where we had integrated uCash and had jackpot systems

Again the cost to play would be added to the jackpot,it would rise until it was won then default back to the initial jackpot but we also had an option where the arcadian could gamble - the cost to play the game was 5 times the normal cost but if they got the highscore they won ten times the stated jackpot

Could an option like that be implemented easily?

The Cost to Play will increase with the jackpot in the next release of vbPlaza 1.5.5.

I've supported the jackpot system in 1.5.5 for ibProArcade.
