User cannot see gifts
 

I installed vbPlaza 1.5.0 initially, and I was told by one user that he cannot see any gifts.

I've upgraded my vBulletin to 3.5.4 (from 3.5.3) and vbPlaza to 1.5.4. This user still cannot see any gifts. I've borrwed his login to see for myself and it's true. When I View Source this is all that shows up:

Nothing in between, where the gifts should be displaying. He's not a very active member (8 posts and a member for 3 months or so). I've fixed all Gift Postbits (cycling at 20 then again at 1000000), same thing with Ribbons. Rebuilt bitfields. All that.

Where else can I look for the resolution? Thanks in advance!

Can u search in the Admin CP and find gifts for that user?

First off, thank you for replying.

Well it's not that he can't see his gifts. He can't see anyone's gifts! He posted asking what everyone was talking about.

But for grins I bought him a gift and can confirm it in the Admin CP, and no he cannot see even his own gifts.

Its possible that u have another template edit done that could use an <IF conndition that is not true for this user.

What I would do is this:

1) Backup your postbit/postbit_legacy templates to a file on your Hard Drive.
2) Revert them back to normal.
3) Redo the template edits for vbPlaza to postbit/postbit_legacy.
4) See if that user can see gifts then.

That's a good test to see if u have a template edit done thats not compatible 100%. If it doesnt fix it, then u can obviously restore the templates from the backup u saved on your Hard Drive.
