Option for Avatars - pls read!
 

Option to give certain usergroups a predefined selection of avatars?
Admin uploads certain avatars and enables certain usergroups to be able to choose one of them or none at all, but they are NOT able to upload their own or choose any other than what the admin predefined.

Does this option exist, or is there a hack for it?

There isn't such a mod ;)

But when you add an avatar in your AdminCP, you can specify a minimum of posts before a user can use the avatar (AdminCP => Avatars => Add New Avatars).

Another option is to create different Avatar categories in your Admin CP (e.g., members, premium members, moderators, custom...). Then set the Avatar permissions accordingly. After you do that go to each Usergroup and make sure that upload Avatars are disabled. Users can now choose their pre-defined avatar for select groups in their User CP. :)
