Explain for me about Jackpot

I dont understand much about it. Starting Jackpot Amount, Jackpot Amount ?

In my forum, i set Weekly Lottery:
Starting Jackpot Amount: 3000
Jackpot Amount: 5000

Can anyone plz explain it for me and tell me how to set correct

Starting Jackpot Amount: 3000
Jackpot Amount: 5000 ->it means that 5000 is the current (live) jackpot amount.

If Lottery Ticket Builds Jackpot is enable, it will be built up from 3000 (ex. now it goes up to 5000 already.)
