Changing php versions

I just moved a site to a new server that is running a newer version of php....

My old server was running 4.3.10
and my new server is running 4.4.1

My boards aren't working ---- Anyone see this happen when moving or upgrading php versions? and if so, is a modifcation necessary in vbulletin files somewhere?
