Is there such mod?

I'm building website and want to include blog feature that will use same login and password as vbulletin use (I mean each member have only one account for the forum and blogs).

Is there mod which allow to use vbulletin's auth scripts and users database?

PS: Is there some directory of vbulletin mods (sorted by categories etc)?

If you don't find what you're looking for here, you might consider integrating BlogHoster with vBulletin.

I was going to do this, but my members didn't want it. They would be perfectly happy with the vBJournal. (they don't tend to like anything that requires them to 'leave' the board.)

Thanks, vBJournal is nice mod. But I think I will need to right software by myself. I want to find mod (or just script) which will allow me to use vBulletin's user database (logins, passwords etc) and which allow me to integrate forum and blogs.

Sorry, my English is bad. I just do not know the keyword I should use to find what I want (do not know this term which means integrating logins, passwords etc).

Try BlogHoster. It's not free, but it will do exactly as you describe.

It does not do what I want. I want to allow members to post blogs with travel content (travel guide, tips, photos).

The problem is all these blogs must be connected with the website. For example if visitor goes to Paris page, he could see few blogs of different members.

Also, each member could have few blogs (different visited places).

I don't see what the problem is...

Bloghoster can be configured anyway you like, and is completely integrated into your website, and uses the same user database as your vB.

If you like, you can make all of the available blog templates travel related.

That's what I mean (look at "Top 5 Pages About Paris" part and links please). Is BlogHoster can do this?

Ok, I think I see what you want...not really 'blogs, imo', they are user travelogues.

Each user would have one main profile, but they could create a new 'log' each time they take a trip. The system would then orgaize the 'logs' by location, so a user looking for 'logs' regarding PARIS, they would see a list of logs by various members.

Or...if they like the way "JANE" writes about paris, they could click on her profile to read all of her logs...

Is this what you want?

Yes. :)

Sorry, I couldn't explain exactly what I want to find.
