how do i add a new link onto the nav bar..

Open the navbar template, and find:

HTML Code:

<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="faq.php$session[sessionurl_q]" accesskey="5">$vbphrase[faq]</a></td>

Below that add:

HTML Code:

<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="myfile.php$session[sessionurl_q]">Custom link</a></td>

Edit the text/url for your own needs.
