Most used smilies?
 

Okay, so I'm thinking this would take a pretty intensive query of the post table to build..

Perhaps if it ran through the scheduled task manager once a day and updated like how many times a smilie has been used, or adds to it?

Basically, I'm looking for a way to query the post table and determine how many times each smilie has been used, then save that in an extra field on the smilies table.

Then a page could be brought up that queries based on that field to show the 10 most used or 25 most used or whatever.

Then maybe once a night, a scheduled task manager would query all the posts made in the last 24 hours and would examine how many times which smilies were used in those posts and increase the count on the new field on the smilie table by that amount?

I don't know... I'm pullin something outta my butt :)


I guess I'm just wanting to accomplish a way to list the most used smilies :)
