Should i shouldnt i make this mod..

Hi, i was thinking of making a modification where you can create vbulletin pages directly from the acp, ie you can just click "add new page" or somthing and it will create a brand new page and within the acp you can ad content to it etc, do you think i should make that mod?

i Would also make it for 2.x and 3.0.x and 3.5.x

That's a great idea, I'd definitely install it if you did make it (for 3.5.x)!

3.5 would be first it'd be combatible with because thats what my test forum and my main are.

Doesn't WebTemplates Hack do this?

Reef 03-14-2006 10:39 PM

Also vbadvanced......

Sounds great to me...... something simple that would incorporate header and footer etc would be great but Logicians templates do that already and I use that too.

You would have to go a few steps further and make it even easier to use I guess.

What exactly are you planning? Like a portal or similiar??

I am interested...... I would love a simpler way to add vb pages....

Short description ( i aint even started it yet ;) ) - You just import a product, and you would have a new menu on your vbulletin so you can create a page with what ever you want, you could add side menus bottem menus, top ones etc i might make it so its like you can "design" a brand new page :) colours fonts everything and a preview button so u can see what ur doing. pretty simple.

i made one almost exactly like that for ipb 1.0 once, for my self keeped on makin it till 2.1.5.. only dif was the product part..

This can be done with using the vBadvanced CMPS and/or vbPortal. I believe there are other portals in use that might do this too... so you might want to check into how they work as you develop this further.
