How to change ribbon name and image
 

Hello,

My forum members really love the ribbon feature but unfortunately it is not suitable for my forum that mainly focus on desktop customization. I would like to ask is there any option for me to change the ribbon image to use my own, and change all the ribbon name and cause.

There are phrases for all ribbons, u can edit the phrases for any ribbons u want.

and how to change the ribbon? Should I rename any .gif that I want to use to replace the ribbon .gif or can I set which directory the ribbbon image is located?

You could add/remove ribbons from the store if you wanted to. But it will require adding phrases, uploading the new ribbons, and changing some of the code in the action.ribbons.php file.

so the best way is just replace any image that I want to use with the original ribbon image.

Yes, and then edit the coresponding phrase also to what you want the cause to be.
