Opening a new website...and i need help
Me and couple of friends are thinking to open up a website to be selling or even share our work, which most of it is vbulletin styles and other graphics for vb. So far i've managed to register a very good domain for this kind of website, and i've also bought a new vbulletin license to be using it for the specific website.
I have some problems, and some thoughts and i was hoping maybe some of you might be able to help me out here :) The problems we are facing, is that we don't know which portal is best for our website. I've looked on other similar websites and the most of them seem to be using a heavily modded vbadvanced. So my first question would be. Is vbadvanced the best solution for my type of website? Now another concern we have, is what script or hack i can use for selling these kind of products. This seems to be the biggest problem for us, as we want to find a hack to be integrated with vb, rather than a shopping script that would want a lot of time to make it work with vb. So if you can help, please do so :) It would be greatly appreciated! :) :) |
Take a look at The Geek's hacks. I think you'll find what you need there :)

As to the portal, if you need one, vBa is a decent option, though vBPortal is quite a bit better featurewise. If you've got alot of money to spend on it, you could also look into phpcow. |
adminnation thanks thats the one for 3.5 that i couldnt remember
