Gifts/ribbons not showing up
 

Just upgraded from the earlier version of Estore, to the new VBplaza

For some reason, gifts and ribbons aren't showing up in the postbit

I double checked and the template edits ARE in there ok, but still no go..?

Did u run the vbPlaza Gift Options to Rebuild All Gift Postbits? An Rebuild All Ribbon Postbits?

If not, that should fix it.

Aye, I did that

I just did another test, I bought myself a new ribbon, that now shows up
For some reason, when I ran the upgrade, it either didn't copy the ribbons across or whatnot, because when you use the search feature to find ribbons, it doesn't find ANY, except the one I just bought

Gifts, a similiar issue.....the old gifts show in the memberinfo area, but not in the postbit
I bought myself a gift, it now shows in the postbit area, but the old ones do not
Yet the new one shows alongside the others in the memberinfo template

Where was the old gifts / ribbons tables?

Not sure, I think the original tables were from a vb 3.0 installation of UShop...
I then upgraded to vb 3.5 when it came out, installed your original Estore hack when it came out, then upgraded it again to the new VBPlaza, which is when they dissapeared.

It's possible the old gifts got lost in translation somewhere down the line.

The only way to fix that would be to get the data from the old table and reformat it to be inserted into the new vbPlaza gifts table.

exact same thing happening to me. but this was just from the upgrade to 1.5, not from ushop

I posted this in the hack thread...

If it comes down to it, create a test style and revert its postbit to vb default.. Then when you do the postbit edit for vbplaza, if it works, you know its a template issue.. See my other post to you in the ebux mega thread too :D

this is way weird. my gifts are not showing up for only a particular member! it's on the memberinfo template, but it's not showing on the postbits.

What version do u have installed?
