[Question] Linking Images
 

good day i'm having this problem and seem not to find out the problem or don't know where to look..

this is the problem i want to link the image and i added this code:but when i save the job i get this : [img=http://img506.imageshack.us/img506/5360/ptech49zr.png] and not letting me link the images

i don't know where to start to fix the problem.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

thanks for your response, yes but this is the problem i'm having that i didn't have from the 3.5.1 board when i upgraded to .4.

i want that when you post the image you click on the image and it will redirect you to the site in question, for example (DOWNLOAD) you hit the download button then it will take you to the download page..that's what i'm looking for, all it does it takes you to the hosted pictures if you look above where i posted the url link to the image on the second part when i save it shows that line is it something in vb i need to fix or add?..please i need this

lol...that's what i'm trying to tell you i know about that url ...on my board it's not working it takes me straight to the picture not the site look at the 1st post the links i added this that you put but when i save this what it shows on the board:

do you have bbcode enabled?
do you have IMG code enabled?

if so, disable the plugin system ... I'm guessing it's a plugin OR you modified one of the default vb files

yes, everything is ok everything is enabled...don't know where else to look for. :disappointed:

ok after searching around i'm still stuck i hosted the files and change the url so it can redirect to another site it still don't work can someone help me to fix this problem.

yes the bb code is active and the img code is active too could it be a bug for vb???

example: when i save it it will look like this:https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/

EDIT: i clicked on this button and it worked on this board but on my board it won't work it'll take me to the picture not the site

can anybody help or is there a query i can run to fix this problem

Perhaps linking us to your site along with a test account would help a bit.

if you don't want to post a URL ... disable the plugin system and test on a default vb style ... see if the problem still exists
