Forbit access to forum if user uses proxy
 

i was wondering if there is such a hack. i would like to deny access to forums if a suer uses proxy. i know some isps use them, but i would like to risk not having few legit users being able to register instead of having all those spamers and banned people use proxy and enter the forum. :devious:

any help with this would be greatly appreciated

p.s. there is a hack to reveal an IP if proxy is detected, unfortunately I didnt have any luck with it at all. :ermm:

If by "any luck" you mean they weren't detected, then no other hack is likely to work either - they are annonymous, and you are not going to be able to stop people using them (other than with a lot of ip bans).
