[HELP] Games will not load.
We've had the Arcade since Mr. ZeroPage released it in November, and never had a problem. Recently, we've moved to a new Host, and now after installing the Arcade (many times), when a game is selected to play, it will not launch. I've checked permissions (777 on /arcade directory and all subfolders and files beneath it), path to root is specified correctly (/home/iced/www) in the vBulletin config.php file... I succesffully uploaded a tar'd game and everything goes well... until I try and launch the game; at that point, the address bar indicates it's trying (http://www.icedaccounts.com/arcade.p...=play&gameid=1 ), and then just sits there forever... We're running vB 3.5.1 and v2.5.4+ Updated... The games can be run when the full path to the game is specified in the address bar, but whenever the variable GID is needed, it seems it can't reconcile the gid with the actual .swf file. Any ideas - my community is growing restless. Thank you for your time.

I am having the exact same problem. I am looking forward to a solution. Please help! :disappointed:

Please provide FTP+ACP-Access via PM so I can have a closer look on that ...
I just moved one customers vB to a new server last night and ibPro still works fine |
PM sent with all pertinent information attached! :)

Is there a fix/solution to this problem? I have searched this board until I am blue in the face. I've found several threads with this problem; but not one solution. I am ready to give up and just uninstall this arcade. I've tried everything I can think of, I have CHMOD'ed all the folders and double checked them, I am getting the games installed and they are showing in the arcade. When I try and play them, it shows that it is loading but that never happens.
I would be forever grateful if someone can help me fix this problem. Thank you so much. :) |
So you have the same problem, just give me ACP+FTP-Access via PM, too, and I will check this out

I was kind of hoping that v2.5.6+ was going to address this problem, since in this latest release, you specify

I fixed that now, but I don't understand why that does not work on your site ...
under investigation |

The only thing I can deduce as to what the problem may be is the path to my forums root - the root of the board I had on my previous host was simply "/". My new host makes me specify "/public_html" as the root. |
No, that is not the problem. We should investigate further in which PHP-Version you have ect I guess
