How about a mod that would allow an admin to mark a post as "last" in a particular thread so that with any subsequent posts, the "last" post stays last.

I can kind of do this using the Advanced Editing Options and setting the date of a post to be in the future, but this messes up some things like subscription notifications and keeps the unread indicators lit up on the forumhome.

Could be done by simply adding a colum to the posts, and then not order by dateline, but by latest, dateline.

If anyone decides to takle this, can you make it accessible only to Superadministrator selected userids?
