Users Changing Post Icons
 

Greetings everyone,

I have a site where people send in articles to a large group for discussion and eventual publication to the web site.

We have a set procedure that each submission must go through before it is considered completed.

I envisioned having the author (VB user) change their post icon to reflect the status of their submission as it goes through the steps we require before publishing it.

The site currently has 3.5 loaded. The admin is the only one who can change the post icon. Is there a way to allow the user to change the post icon on their own posts and no one else’s?

If that’s not a possibility is there any other way you can think of to insert some type of visual cue to show the status of a submission? It needs to show up on the forum overview screen (if that makes sense.
