Report a Private Message

I didn't find this available, but I believe it would be a splendid addition. We get repeated claims of spam/harassment/stalking via PM, but we can't read them so we have no way of proving that said message was sent.

What would be great is if a report system existed within the PM that sent reported PMs to a certain staff forum for review, while leaving the message itself unedited with the sender and recipient identified.

use the famous pm workbench

quick and easy way to report a spam/harrassment PM is to forward it to the forum admins. ;)

And how can you say, without certainty, that the message was not edited by the forwarder?

See post #2. :D

(You can find the PM Workbench in my signature/profile)

A good idea, however:

- It does not send the reported message to a forum per my request
- I do not want the other modules that come with the workbench. I would much prefer to have a standalone version of this.

That is correct, it will only sent the report to defined users by PM.. Maybe something for a future version.

You can install each module seperate.

Well, in that case, if you were to make it so that the messages were sent to a certain reported PM forum, then you'd definitely have my interest.
