Get a single connection to MySQL
 
Is there a way to get a single connection for all users to mysql? I am maxing on my connections, yet I only have 10 people on line.... I am thinking if I can "streamline" the connections to a single one - it would help out substantially.

I have persistant connections set to 1

You should turn off persistent connections!

And no, there is no way to do what you want.

Only solution: find a normal host.

well when it was set to 0, no one could get on the site. I have godaddy - can anyone suggest a "normal host"
