Auto lock thread after first posit
 

I am after a plug that will auto-lock a thread after the first post is made for given forums.

This is to be used on vbulletin 3.5.3 so a plugin or product would be best and the option for which forums to apply this to as an option in the admin control panel. How would I go about doing this or has it been written already?

I did a few searches but could not find anything that did this.

by default, there should be a tick box that lets you close a thread when you submit the new thread for posting.

Yes but I want certian forums to automatically be locked after the first post is placed in a thread. This will prevent replies before a moderator find the new thread and manually locks it.

In that case, try playing around with the forum permissions. I am sure you can set it so that others cannot reply to a thread which in effect accomplishes the same thing.

Thats not a bad suggestion. I'll give that a go.
