vbAdvanced Addon for AboutToday

This is to install an addon to vBAdvanced for AboutToday . It assumes that AboutToday is installed, the RSS Feeds are active, and "How many rows across for $myfeeds variable?" is set to greater than zero.

In vBa CMPS, Add Module - Template.

1. Module Title - Make this whatever you want to display
2. Template to Include: adv_portal_myfeeds
3. Template Content:

<tr>
<td class="$bgclass">
$myfeeds
</td>
</tr>

4. Save it and refresh your vbadvanced index page!

Nice one. Although, I have no use for it as I don't use vBadvanced.

I think you will also like the new feature in AboutToday ver 1.1 where you can turn off the local events since I don't think you use that. It will make your main AboutToday page a cleaner listing of your RSS summaries.

Note - you must install the latest version (at least 1.1 Gold) of AboutToday for the vBa mod to work!

ok, updated to 1.1 set the myfeeds variable to 3, left column and i get nothing. I get the table to show, but nothing in it. do I have to do a forced update?

EDIT

tried forced update of RSS and got the same thing. Maybe i missed something.

Can you post a screen shot of what the vBa Mod looks like (in the admincp)? Or, PM me the info to look at it directly.

Thx (oh ... fixed my sig, thx again!)
