Single user remaking accounts to get back into my boards..any suggestions?
 

He's on dial up and he makes a new account, makes three posts which violate our user agreement, I ban the account and remove the posts then he shows back up again the next day.

Anyone have any suggestions for hacks or mods that might help me get rid of this guy. He uses the same three domain names for email addresses but he changes them.

I have email varfication turned on so I know he's varifying the email address. He just sets up a new one to resign up on my boards.

What would you guys do?

That wont work. Being he is using dial up, he more than likely has a dynamic IP. Block the host, but you will block legitamite users too.

Set your new registrations to confirm email address and moderate posts....then he wont be such a pain.

No. In most cases, dialup means dynamic IP

At least here in Germany, static IPs are really rare - even my DSL has dynamic IP.

His IP is different everytime he registers. Most dial up is that way they get whatever is open when they connect.

Oh and btw we have set it so that he has to do email varification and he has to make a new email address each time because we wont let them use the same email address twice.

indeed, he will probably get sick of it soon...

naaa I think he's pretty set up to do this. I think I'm going to get the logs and complain to his ISP. Cant hurt to try that either.

Just put new members under moderation. Anything he posts wont be viewable by anyone but the admins/supermods. So he can post garbage all day, but no one will see it.

Add him to the coventry group, or try using miserable users on him.
